Is professional cleaning useful if I already vacuum?
Regular vacuuming is important upkeep. Professional cleaning can address suitable items with soiling that needs more attention. It complements your routine rather than replacing it.
Which items can J+U clean?
Sofas, mattresses and fabric chairs, subject to suitability. For leather, delicate fabrics or an unfamiliar material, send the care label and photos before booking.
Does every item receive steam and shampoo?
No. Treatment depends on the material, construction and condition. We’ll discuss suitable methods rather than apply every process to every piece.
Can you remove old stains?
Stain treatment may help, but results depend on the fabric, the mark and its age. Share what caused it and any products already used. Complete removal is not guaranteed.
What about pet accidents or lingering smells?
Tell us what happened and whether liquid soaked into the padding. An odour source deeper inside an item may require a different approach. Ask about suitability before booking.
How long before we can use the sofa or bed?
Approximate drying window of 4–6 hours, depending on airflow and conditions. Some items take longer. Follow the team’s guidance and wait until fully dry before use or replacing bedding.
How do you approach homes with children and pets?
Discuss household needs and proposed products in advance. Keep children and pets away from the work area and follow the specific aftercare instructions. Eco-conscious does not mean suitable for every sensitivity.
How often should I book?
We suggest 6–12 months as a starting point. Usage, spills, pets and the manufacturer’s care guidance should shape the schedule for your particular furniture.
What should I prepare?
Clear small belongings around the item, remove bedding where relevant and share care labels. Confirm access requirements with the team and plan somewhere else to sit or sleep while items dry.
What does my quote need to confirm?
Item sizes, material, configuration, cleaning coverage and any minimum visit charge. Ask about cushion surfaces or mattress sides rather than assuming all are included.
