Ad-hoc cleaning is a helping hand with everyday upkeep, booked when you need it. You choose the priorities; we work through the agreed list.

What does “ad-hoc cleaning” mean?
Help with everyday household chores, arranged when you need it. This is light upkeep guided by your priorities, rather than a specialist deep-cleaning package.
What can I put on my list?
Light dusting, surface wiping, vacuuming, mopping, everyday tidying and laundry folding. Agree specific areas and tasks before the visit.
What isn’t included?
Renovation cleaning, machine deep cleaning, exterior windows, heavy lifting and hazardous work. Tools and products are not supplied.
Can you help with kitchens and bathrooms?
Describe the exact tasks and current condition when you enquire. A room name alone doesn’t define the work. Ask about heavy grease, mould or stubborn buildup separately.
What equipment should I have ready?
Prepare the supplies needed for your agreed list, such as a working vacuum, mop, bucket, cloths and suitable cleaning products. Check anything you’re unsure about before the visit.
Will four hours cover my whole home?
It depends on the size, condition, access and tasks. Share photos and put essential jobs first. Ask the team what is realistic rather than assuming every room will be completed.
Can I change the list during the session?
Finalise it beforehand. If something changes, discuss it with the team before work is added or priorities are rearranged.
Do I need to be at home?
Agree access, instructions and how the work will be reviewed with J+U before booking. For condos, check any management entry requirements.
What if I have pets or young children?
Tell us beforehand and arrange a separate space away from the cleaning area. Share sensitivities and follow the directions for the products you provide.
Can you deep-clean my sofa during the session?
Upholstery cleaning is a separate service. Send photos and ask for a quote through our upholstery-cleaning page.
Can I request the same cleaner or a regular slot?
Tell us your preference when enquiring. Confirm availability and arrangements with the team; a particular cleaner or time should not be assumed.
What should I send for a quote?
Your home size, preferred date, task list and the job you want done first. Photos help explain any areas needing attention.
